This is at the dam infront of the property where we live. The water is murky but it's quite high as it has been raining. Everytime my little boy and I go for a walk, we always have to stop by the dam to throw some rocks. Sometimes there are ducks swimming. There are trees around the dam. We always have a fear that my toddler will one day wander around and end up at the bottom of the dam - it's not that big but it is around 16 meters deep. That's why we educate him a lot the danger of water (like we are doing an energy auditor training). You can never be too careful with water and kids.

Beautiful reflections - how wonderful that it is so close and you can enjoy it in all it's moods! We have a creek near us, and my kids learned how to swim early on. Because you are so right - you can never be too careful with water and kids!
What a lovely reflection of some very very tall trees. iI would like to see more of this pond.
