Window Shopping, Again!

In my search for what-nots, I found more online shoe shops. It is really fun browsing around. It’s a shame though that some do not accept Paypal for payment and if they do, my Paypal accounts have balances close to nothing. I just finished my on-line shopping spree for presents for when we go to the Philippines. I bought watches for everybody, tell you. The price is just too good to resist. Mcj said, it looks like I don’t have originality and they might think that I am a watch dealer and giving them my surplus. Lol. As I’ve said, they are nice brands of watch with great prices. Why should I pass it up?

Not enough moolah didn’t stop me from browsing and admiring nice pair of shoes though. Buying shoes for me now is like buying wood flooring, so far out. :)

In Friendship

Your Friendship Style is Philosophical

You take every friendship you have seriously, and you spend a lot of time analyzing your friends.

You've thought a lot about what it means to be a good friend, and you hold yourself to your standard.

In return, you expect your friends to be loyal, honest, and real. You're somewhat picky about who you're friends with.

Fighting with your friends bothers you more than most people. You can't stop replaying arguments over and over in your head.

You and an Empathetic Friend: Try to understand one another. You approach life very differently, but you're willing to listen to one another.

You and a Gregarious Friend: Are a better match than expected. You understand and appreciate your Gregarious Friend's energy.

You and an Independent Friend: Get along pretty well, but you can't help but think your Independent Friend needs to learn better manners!

You and another Philosophical Friend: Are friends for life. You can get lost in your intense, interesting conversations... and maybe even change the world together!

Care for Toes

I easily develop calluses on my toes. It has something to do with my feet size - too slim but long, so I end up buying show not really the right size. Plus, I have a very dry skin on my feet. Been doing a lot of research how to give my feet some TLC. I use foot cover and put foot lotion (only if I remember it). Lol.

Anyway, I also found this helpful tips from ehow.com:

Opt for low-heeled shoes; high heels tilt the foot and put most of your weight on the balls of your feet, creating large calluses. Wear thick socks with extra cushioning in the heel, ball and toe area.

File away any developing calluses with an emery board or pumice stone following a bath or shower, when the water has soften your callus.

Use a softening agent like Ultramide 25 lotion to peel away thick calluses.

Apply lotions and moisturizers generously. Use lanolin, Vaseline or vitamin E oils on feet, hands, elbows, knees or anywhere a callus is likely to develop.

Choose shoes shaped like human feet. Narrow-toed shoes make feet more prone to calluses because the foot is held at a funny angle inside the shoe.

Buy high-quality exercise shoes with plenty of padding and room in the toe area. Don't try to save money by buying cheap shoes. Your feet will suffer.

Step8Have hammertoes, bunions and bone spurs surgically repaired if they're causing chronic callus formation.

Wear knee pads if you spend a lot of time on your knees gardening, scrubbing or waxing the floor. Knee pads will prevent callus formation.

Don gloves to prevent calluses from forming on your hands when doing heavy work such as moving branches, raking bags full of leaves and hoeing.

Oh, have to add foot lotion in my shopping list (no discount furniture for now).

Green Butterfly

This is late but I want to show off my Christmas gift. I love it. Mcj saw it and he wanted to buy it for me right away. I got compliments of course and one bloke said, Mcj has an excellent taste. Don't you think?
I'm planning to buy something sort of like it for earrings to match though as of now, I just use my jade earrings (from MIL) to match it. I'm looking for a jewellery box for it though as it is just sitting in a bookcase for now. Why is jewellery box so hard to find these days not like Leptorexin?

Glam, glam, glam

Well, I'm not really into celebrities (though I admit, I bought a copy of Ok! Magazine very recently) but while reading the recent news in yahoo, my attention was caught by the photo gallery in the red carpet in Golden Globes Award Night. Here are some of my faves:

Their gowns are magnetsthat attract all the eyes on them, I guess. Pretty!

I Just Window-shopped

I wasn’t lucky last New Year’s Eve. The steep walk from the office to the train station had finally taken its toll on me. I was wearing alcheapo shoes and stepped on an underground water meter cover and slipped – tearing my favourite pants and scraping my right knee. I am thankful, I didn’t break my legs. One guy came to the rescue but I told him that, I think I am fine. He asked if I broke my shoes. Funny.

After the incident, I bowed that I would not buy alcheapo shoes anymore however cheap they are. I will stick to buying shoes with good grip on the soles. Mcj said, I just need to walk carefully. I do now. I use the other side of the road which isn’t that steep and walk real slow.

So, I’ve been window shopping for my future buys. Yeah, future as I promised myself not to shop for anything until our trip to RP.

I like these:

While browsing away, stumbling onto weight loss product is not impossible. The ads about them are everywhere on the net. I think it’s second to dating sites. What do you reckon?
