Winter is over

but the cold weather is still here. Spring it should be but it doesn't really feel like spring-y. It's been raining for almost a week now and if forecast is good, it will still be until next week. The weather is still good for donning on sweaters. I am looking at these lovies. If only, they're available in Australia.

Wish List

My birthday is coming up and I have lots of things I want. I dont want anything but just some little bits and pieces. Although, I wish for a Canon camera. Not just a compact one but a SLR.

I also want my own laptop and Apple maybe. I can have jewellery too. Diamonds, preferrably.

But most of all, I just want to be healthy - no backpains, that's my constant complaint a knee pain like I'm eon years old.

Happiness too! But I am now.

I Just Hope So

You Try to Tread Lightly

You would like to make the world a better place, but you also don't want to inflict any damage on it.
You try to live a green and sustainable life. The environment matters deeply to you.
You are thoughtful in your decisions and words. You think everyone should try harder not to harm one another.
You don't think big... in fact, you tend to think small. You know that one small action can make a big difference.

I do tread lightly because I have always been cautious in my life. I don't want my actions and decisions to backfire on me like led flashlights pointed to a wall.

But I do have a simple mind and think that the problem of the world can be solve using simple logic if only everyone will cooperate.

Pregnant Pause

MIRANDA Kerr isn't letting a little baby bump get in the way of her chance to walk the Balenciaga runway.

After making her Balenciaga catwalk debut a year ago (a major move toward building a more high-end image), Kerr - now five months pregnant - took to the runway for the second time Sept. 30 in Paris, where she wore a wide shift dress with an oversize houndstooth print that conveniently disguised her belly, along with a rubbery black jacket and chunky men's-style flats.

Being preggy is not a thing that will hinder one in appearing in the runway except maybe if one is wearing french maid costumes. It's good to know that there are designers who allows model to appear preggy with their creations.

In the Future

According to reports, this is the lounge room of the future. A 4 yard tv, speakers that know the room (it’s too hard to expound on that one as it has something to do with the position, dimension, etc about the room). More features are available and I think, with these changes in ones home, insurance quotes will sky rocket not to mention the cost.

Fashion Week

Got this photo from thevine.com.au for the fashion week in London. I'm not a fashion guru or nearly at it so I'll just say what I like in the photos. Because, it's spring and I like colourful clothes, it's obvious.

I don't shop as to season either. I shop when I want to and when my pockets allow me to. And if I have to especially for electric blanket during cold seasons.

Spring Cleaning

We're almost over with the first month of spring but I haven't really done any spring cleaning. Just a routine weekly cleaning that is. I reckon, good enough is good enough. But just in case, this is worth sharing (from housekeeping.about.com) the 15 minute bedroom cleanup:

Grab your supplies.
Few of us have supplies to clean the bedroom actually stored in our bedroom. Gathering all supplies together before beginning the job will keep you from getting distracted and failing to complete the job.

Grab all dirty clothing and put it in a hamper.
Since you're in a hurry, don't worry about unrolling socks, and pulling shirts right side out. These tasks are easier to do while sorting the laundry. Just grab all of the dirty clothes and place them in the hamper.

Grab all clean clothes and refold or re-hang.
If you have a significant amount of clean clothing lying around waiting to be folded and hung, skip this step and place the clean clothing semi-neatly on your bed after you complete Step 5. You can hold your bed hostage and remind yourself to take a few minutes to put away the clothing before bed.

Grab all trash and put in the trashcan.
This is not the time to determine if you're ready to trash old copies of magazines, or that pair of shoes you've needed repaired for two years. We're throwing away obvious trash, not sorting through boxes and closets. Save the major trash sweep for when you have more time.

Make the bed.
Yes, I know there is a major debate about whether or not to make the bed. You are just going to get back into it in a few hours. But if we used that argument for other areas of our home, we would never have clean floors, dishes, or laundry. Why wash something when it's just going to get used again? Making the bed changes the look of a room. It makes a room more inviting and uncluttered looking.

Pickup all the misplaced items on the floor, bed, desk, etc.
Put them in a basket, box, or bag. These are items that belong in another room in the house. Don't try to take them back one at a time. Just put them all in one location for now and move on.

Straighten surfaces.
If it has been a long time since you have cleaned in here, you may have large accumulations of your stuff that belongs in your room but is not in its proper place. Take a brief survey of this "stuff". If in a minute or less you can put it all away, do so. If not place it all in a container so that you can go through it and organize it later.

Sweep and mop or vacuum.
Don't move furniture to sweep or vacuum. Just do a quick run through.

Put away your supplies
Allow yourself to reflect on how much nicer this briefly cleaned room is. If you keep up this regime regularly on your room, you'll always be able to find your bed. And isn't that what we all want.

Really, for me this will take almost 30 minutes. I have lots of nooks, crannies and corners to check. And if there's a little monster that litters (with name tags, etc) the place that you just cleaned up, it's no easy feat.

Match Couples

DIANE KRUGER & JOSHUA JACKSON
From their matching straw fedoras to their coordinating navy blazers and blue jeans, Diane and Joshua prove they are in style sync as they arrive in Saint-Tropez.

JENNIFER LOPEZ & MARC ANTHONY
Every diva needs the perfect accessory! Marc perfectly balances his sexy wife's neutral snake-print Monique Lhuillier dress and gold jewels with a shiny khaki suit and cool shades while in Miami Beach.

There are more in people's website. I can't take them all in but I'm in awe in all of them. Funny, huh! Time to check-out the http://www.teenage-acne.org, for some interesting facts.

Holywood Mini Setters

These mini-mums, mini-dads and mini-themselves are really cute and funny. You can see their own identity and I can relate. A three year old kid can decide what to wear and nobody can change their mind other than sweets. Lol. It's alright, the worries of the best acne treatment is decades away.

HONOR WARREN: THE HIPSTER
Like mom Jessica Alba, this downtown-girl-in-the-making opts for easy, yet unique ensembles – including mini jean skirts and message tees, mixed floral and checkered prints, pretty shift dresses and bright sandals – for outings in L.A. to Paris.

SHILOH JOLIE-PITT: THE TOMBOY
Even though the 4-year-old fashion rebel started out in adorable dresses, her style has taken a tomboyish turn that includes fedoras, ties and blazers. "Children should be allowed to express themselves in whatever way they wish without anybody judging them because it is an important part of their growth," mom Angelina Jolie says of her daughter's style choices.

SURI CRUISE: THE FASHIONISTA
From her seriously chic accessories (check out those bags and shoes!) to her sophisticated outerwear, this stylish toddler sure knows how to make grown-up touches look oh-so-cute. "She picks out all of her own clothes and has since she was 1½," says her trendsetter mom Katie Holmes
