Hair-banging hair style

I had a haircut when we went to the Philippines. It is a bit short and it has been the shortest for almost 9 years. It's no use if you are hair-banging just like what some did in the air guitar festival - my hair just won't bang that way. Speaking of air guitar, what's your take on it? I see two things - I thought it silly and at the same time, I admire the people involved. To make something that big, is legendary. Do you think they still check out the Alfred Guitar Tablature even if they are playing air guitar? Regardless, this is inspirational and I hope many things such as this one will crop-up in the future.

On a hair note, I can't wait for my hair to grow back. I miss it when it was long that I only have to wind it up my head and viola, instant hair do.

My favourite bag

Currently, this is my favourite bag. I bought this in the Philippines in our trip a few weeks ago.
This bag has only 1 zip pocket inside and two non-zips for phone and what not. What's I like about it is the material. It's not so structured but it can be if it contains the right stuff. The leather is very soft and supple. I also like the colour. I have another bag with the same colour combination that has now been related to my weekend grocery shopping bag. This new bag has become my going to work bag. I am very picky when it comes to buying bags - it has to have the "it" factor. I don't know what it is before I look for a bag that I like but I will know it once I see it. It's really hard - a lot of time is put into it just like buying industrial safety equipment. Oh maybe not imperative. In industrial equipment, it involves the safety of people and that above all else is what matters.

6 Shoes

In my recent retail therapy, I bought 6 pairs of shoes. I have yet to take photos of them. I really liked this shopping trip as I have time to contemplate what I want and need. I reckon, I bought what's needed in my work and casual wear. It's like buying cool Yamaha Guitars, it's all intent and purpose.
Rain Makes You Happy
You tend to move slowly, but you still get a lot done. You are steady.

You are down to earth and practical. You like to live an ordered and organized life.

You find it difficult to be comfortable, and you are often shocked by your surroundings.

You prefer to be around a wide variety of people. You believe that you learn a little something from everyone.

You find peace when you are alone. You know how to balance your emotions well.

Glam

Hey, she knows what she likes: The day before wearing Oscar de la Renta and Brian Atwood to the SAG Awards, the actress wears the same designers at the Producers Guild Awards in Beverly Hills.
As usual, I like her getup and look. She's always photograhed as an ordinary mum when taking her kids out but when it comes to red carpet events, she cleans up pretty nicely. Oh, the tabloids are littered by her family photos doing everyday things (one can have overnight prints from printingamerica.com if they want to with heaps and heaps).

Red Suede Boots

GWYNETH PALTROW'S SKINNIES "I'm forever on the hunt for the perfect distressed jeans. Who makes the ones Gwyneth is wearing?" – Ali The star's pair, $325 R13 jeans, fits all the requirements of worn-in denim: whiskers in the right places, a cool, washed-out blue shade and fading at the knees. We're sold.
Although, the feature in this photo is the jeans..the shoes attracted my attention the most. I'd love to own a pair but then I would wonder if I can pull it off. Maybe, if I can find them in wholesale yard signs - in the sale itself, I'll buy the just to say I own a pair of red boots. :)

Not a Pair

You Are Flat Sandals
Casual yet flirty
You look great in a simple top and jeans
Your look is approachable and cute!
This is funny because I don't really own a pair of flat sandals. I am so used to wearing heels that if I wear flats, I feel like falling backwards. Most of my shoes have a bit of heels even at least half an inch. My heels are not really that high that would need dowel pins incase I trip and broke them.

Best Director

I have not seen Argo but from what I read, it is an excellent movie. It has got good reviews and I was really surpised on Friday AM (Oz time) that BA didn't get nominated in the Oscars as Best Director. At least he won in the Critics Choice. That should mean something.
Take that, Academy! Hours after Ben Affleck was snubbed by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which did not give him a Best Director nomination for his film Argo, he won in the same category at Thursday night's 18th Annual Critics Choice Movie Awards in Santa Monica. "I'd like to thank the Academy," joked Affleck, 40, while on stage to collect his hardware. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding! This is the one that counts." Affleck, who attended the show without wife Jennifer Garner, went on to thank his family by saying, "My daughter wrote my name on my hand for luck. I don't know how that works, but I guess it worked," he said. "I want to thank my kids and I want to thank my wife, without whom I would not be anywhere, much less here." http://www.peoplestylewatch.com/people/stylewatch/package/article/0,,20658248_20663880,00.html
Since, this is an off-topic in my blog but I really like his family.. might as well throw in some more. Have you ever wandered around interior decorating stores. I have not that I know of so I am curious if there is one around my area.

From AM to PM

From my collection of shoes, I have basic work shoes. And from those, I have my favourite pair - comfy yet stylish (give my feet really good cuddles). They're my favourite so much so that the front sole of one is almost worn-out. I have been hunting for replacement but no luck and I was just planning to have them repaired. In one of my casual trip to the mall, I found what I've been looking for.
They have the most soft-soled and padded work shoes I have seen so far. They're comparable to utility knives for use and purpose. Just happy that I actually found a pair that I like and fit my feet and purpose. Happy days!
