Coupons Et All

I recently received an email from paypal that I can now show online for products that are not available in Australia especially products from the USA. The shopping is not directly to the respective shops but going through a third party who sends the parcel to Aus. I really thought, it was an excellent idea because it is a given that not all products that we know are available in Australia and if they are, only to some states and no online stores.

I wasn't surprised to know that you can shop at buy.com through ebillme. There are lots of buy.com coupons available. You just have choose which one is your fancy.

Having worked with somebody who loves coupons, I now tend to find them even just for buying pizza for lunch. You just don't realise how much you save until you actually saw the drop in prices for using a coupon.

Volley Shoes

FOR decades they have served as the unofficial shoes of Australia.
But the humble Dunlop Volley is now the hottest sneaker in Manhattan - and they come with a price tag to match.

Struck by their comfortable simplicity, trendy downtown retailer Steven Alan is selling them to New Yorkers for $US60 a pair ($66) - more than twice their Aussie price.

Mr Alan, who owns eight eclectic fashion boutiques in New York and LA, spotted construction workers on the Sydney Harbour Bridge wearing them during a trip to Australia last year.

Instantly, he decided the old canvas sandshoe, which launched as a $2.50 tennis shoe in 1939, were "really cool".

"It's hard to get a sandshoe that is classic and that you've never seen before but which still reads 'classic'," Mr Alan said.

Now, I don’t own a pair of these shoes yet but with this hype, I might get a pair for myself. I’ve seen kids wearing these and I for me, they look okay and functional but not fashionable. Oh well, to each his own anyway. But I won’t be buying them any time soon as we have car insurance due soon.

Hanging in There

You Are Confident

You've accepted yourself fully, and you're happy with where you are in life. You are extremely content.
Your gut reactions are neither negative nor positive. You tend to see both sides of issues.
You are thoughtful and a natural researcher. You always are investigating a new idea or plan.
You are very self sufficient and independent. You prefer to rely on yourself.

I think, we get into the stage of our lives where we can say, we are happy and contented with what we have and where we are. Although, from time to time wishes like ipods, and if you already own one maybe an upgrade to ipod 4 or additional apple products, arise. But I can say now that things are going slowly but smoothly on my side of the fence. Can't ask for more as I already have an ipod (without reading some ipod reviews as it was handed to me on a silver platter). There are stress but manageable. So rock on.

Toys for the Big Boys

How can one enjoy in a place where most audience are male and little boys? By taking photos of course. Althought, I didn't really take much of them. I ended up reading a book. There are booths and stalls but they mainly sell toys for the big boys (barcode scanner was put in use, Not). I suppose one has to give up a day in her life for someone she loves, right?

This is my world and ruby tuesday entry.

Made of Wood - Ugg Boots

This week, I had a bit of a retail therapy. Bought some stuff from Esprit - 2 of them are on sale so it didn't do much damage to my purse string.

On shoes, these are the most controversial ugg boots for the Miss Universe.

And my like, shoes made of wood.. really it could be counted as antique in the long run. I like it.
