Dog or Shoes? :)

We've been to an 18th Birthday Party today. It's a nice break from our lounging and lazy weekends since we got back from out holiday. We met the inlaws and the kids again and there was a new addition - the puppy dog (can't remember the name but he was cute). I am not a dog fan but today, I wasn't scared of him even if he was a staffy - looks like a bulldog to me. He was adoring, making funny chicken noise while he was chained. We thought, he wants to go so he was freed but it looked like he wanted food. His owner might have been spending heaps on dog supplies to keep him looking like he was - a high maintenance one for me. If I was them, I wouldn't be able to afford these lovely.

New Lippy

For quite sometime, I've been using only lipgloss for my lips, the one I bought from Bodyshop. But this morning, out of the blue I thought of using the L'oreal lippy that I bought a month ago from ebay. And I quite like it.

I've applied it twice today, so far so good.
With winter hanging around, my lips need to be moisturised all the time or they'll get chapped. Just like fish that need pond aerators, my lips need moisturiser during these days. Here's a trivia: Some of the lipstick is made of fish scale. Can you believe that? I do because the Maybelline lippy that I had last time, taste fishy. Yeah, baby.

Suits Me

At the same time last year, I was in the phase of testing any moisturiser I can get access to. The moisturiser that I used was phased-out. Why they didn't even bother to tell me?

Anyway, I've tried several but to my heart and pocket's discontent, it didn't suit me. Then, Mcj urged me to visit the chemist and ask an attendant who were very helpful. She pointed to me several brands which I just told her, I have tried. Until I say Avene Cleanance K.

It could be the same with Acnetix but this certainly is a good buy for me. I'm on my second bottle.

Horse Lover

We are invited to an 18th Birthday Party Saturday next. The celebrant is a horse lover so obviously, I want to give her something with a horse. Not the real horse of course. I've been looking up online to see what can I buy for her although, I have a good idea what to get, The Seabiscuit book. A marvellous story about a horse. Sweet, isn't it. I just hope she likes reading. I also hope I can find a bracelet like this one before the party.

New Do

Mcj gave me a haircut when we were in the Philippines. I was ecstatic, why? I haven't had a proper haircut for almost 4 years. Big reason, right? Anyway, it's not styling but I like it. Though sometimes, I get boring with tie-ing it up and since it is winter, I can just let it down after blow-drying it in the morning. Our electricity bill shot-up, maybe but I saved on conditioner. I don't use it anymore so my hair will be quick to dry.

I still desire to have a do like this on Jennifer.

Maybe, on a Friday. I yet have to learn how to do it. If only it is as easy as moving an office furniture.

Beefing Up

I’ve gained 4.5 kilos since I was single. That after giving birth and binge eating. I want to gain more although not the excess that I would need the best diet supplements there is. I just want to go wider but problem is, I don’t. I just get rounder.

Reason why I want to beef up? I believe that when you have a bit of flesh on your face you look younger – no need for any facial remedies. Plus, I need to all the energy and stamina and whatever there is to keep up with my bundle of heaps of energy. He never runs out of them. With just short nap and a little bit of food in the stomach, it’s like he had recharged overnight. I need to be the same so we’ll have more fun.

Aircon Instead of Shoes?

I thought we would be missing our air condition in the summer – which is still very far from now. I thought we would be back to our cooling system and think of having ceiling fans.

One morning our air condition unit that we use to heat up our room gave up on us. It just gone quite and there’s no air coming out. I was thankful that I didn’t give our heater away. Anyhow, I tried the aircon that night just to test and we are blessed, warm air blew out. But, I am not really expecting that the unit will see us for the next couple of years. It is old and a replacement would be necessary soon.
