True but..

My Christmas tree at home is a small green one. And we're going away on Christmas so I might just buy some cooked meals to celebrate but we now have pudding and wine to go with anything. :)

You Should Have a Purple Christmas Tree

For you, the holidays represent a time of creativity and expression.

There's no way you'd do something bland simply for tradition's sake.

You are an independent person, and you definitely do the holidays your own way.

And you're decadent enough to go way over the top with any unusual holiday ideas you have.

Your purple tree would look great with: Purple lights and ornaments

You should spend Christmas Eve watching: A Christmas Story

What you should bake for Santa: "Kitchen sink" cookies - with a ton of things in them

For the Big Guy

Been browsing around Pumpkin Patch and found these lovely.

We are not due to buy Jens anymore summer clothes so I'll just contend myself with looking. If ever, we would be buying him winter clothes soon if there are specials as he has grown out of his winter clothes. But it'll have to wait - storage is essentials and we are running out of space. Not that we are keeping Ferrari parts at home. It's just Jens stuff is growing every month.

Shoes in VS Fashion Show

Saw some awesome shoes used in the VS Fashion Show. Thought of sharing it here.

Although, I myself wear neutral coloured shoes, I like candy coloured pairs as well. I just don't see the point of buying multi-coloured ones as it would be un-appropriate in my industry - or my fashion sense that is. I always stick to basic colours (as some of the pleasanton motorcycle accident attorney would have done). But, window shopping is always a treat.

Fabric Shoes 2

I always like Fabric Shoes especially on Espadrilles. Some that I saw locally has some fibre on the heels. I wanted to buy but the practical side of me thinks that I can only use it in summer or dry season. It also means that it would be a waste to use in my hometown as you have to walk on the ground dirt.

I saw these pair in shoeblog and I really like them. They will surely hold a good weight that has just been under a quick weight loss.

Shortie Shorts

In my side of the world, it’s summer. And what’s in now is denim shorts. You can have it just above the knee or too low to show your butt cheeks.

Prices range from 50 to I think 500 bucks, depending on the brand. But it was shown on ACA how to transform your last year’s denim pants to this years “in” short pants. The tools needed? Scissors, grater and fork. No we’re not eating it. First cut the pants up to the length you prefer and to give it a rugged worn look, run the form on the hem – that way, you can either let them loose or fold them up. You can also run the grater on the part that you want to show some hidden flesh.

I think for some the shorter, the better. It's not as if you're going to wear them to the communion invitations. Mulling mode if we'll attack one of my demin pants or shorts.

Is It or Is It Not?

The gossip labelling Demi's body to he Anja Rubik's is really degrading. I think, W and Demi wouldn't stoop to that level to show how fit Moore is. I mean, they are high profile institutions not some no-name wanna-be's trying to catch media attention. I would say it has been polished to show some imperfection captured by the camera (and take some un wanted pounds that exercise and maybe weight loss diet pill didn't eliminate) but hey, almost all of the print and visual media do that now a days. Even the junk mail I get are glossed up.

Anyway, Demi Moore and W know the truth and at the end of the day, it's them who'll carry the guilt but is guilt is used in Fashion and Movie?

Marry Me?

I didn’t see the movie The Proposal in the cinema. So I waited for almost 3 months (if my memory serves me right) for the DVD release but I didn’t buy it either when it was out. I just rented one last night (overnight for new releases).

I enjoyed it although there seems to be not enough romantic or life changing scenes to make them realise that they love each other at the end. I know it’s a movie length not a life time. It didn’t fall short of my expectation as I didn’t have any. I just want to see more moments of Margaret and Andrew together. Well, I suppose seeing each other naked was enough or is it not?

I realised that since the movie is not just focused on the two of them but also with his family and the lack of it on Margaret’s side. I think it is sweet that she realised how special he is from his family and friends. When she realised it, it reminded her the feelings of being loved and having a family. Not just your typical rom-com, I would say.

I think Sandra Bullock is really sexy in the movie. And I love the Louboutin pumps she’s wearing on the poster.

Looking back, there are lots of scenes that I like. And I might buy a copy of the DVD in addition to my collection of light rom-com movies.

Talking of shopping, I haven’t bought any Christmas gifts yet (I think, laptop would be out of the picture). I’m planning on buying presents from New South Wales on our holiday.

DKNY BAG

The hunt for the elusive sling/body bag is still on. I haven’t bought any yet. I might have found one that I like the style but I don’t like the price. Now, I’m mulling over this one in ebay.

It’s not dear but my question is, will it be appropriate for any occasion. I don’t want to amass body bags anymore than necessary so I want to buy something that will be suitable for all occasion and places – travel, casual, beach, work, shopping, etc. I’m into body bags now as they are quite handy especially for a Mum like me with a very handful toddler.

Maybe, I can have a go at it when the bidding time is nearing its end as I am not buying anything anyway (especially acne treatment – I’m over that).

Looking Around

For the next day or so, I'll be mulling over if I want to buy these items.

I don't need a new watch but I like this pink one. It's not exy so I might get it.

Mcj needs new glasses and his old pair was Dior so I might be able to convince him to get this. Let's see. It's quite a good buy in case.

If Mcj can read this, I would be ashered to the exit signs if we are actually at the shops. I think of buying things that are not necessary. Well, that's my job.

Shoe Shopping

I saw in the telly yesterday that one of the shops here has shoes sale. I didn't have a plan to buy any but we went there today just to check it out. Well, turned out they're not really that nice as I expect them. There were nice shoes (as well as industrial hand wheels) but I don't need them (I already own one too many pairs).

We bought a pair of thongs for Jens and left.

For now, I'll leave you with these comfy pick.

Passementerie

It was the first time I saw the term Passementerie – shoes in the shoeblog.com. Although, I claim that I am a shoeaholic my knowledge and know-how on shoes is very limited. I just love buying shoes. Make it simple. I love spending.

I digress, again.

I always like dresses or tops with Passementerie but with shoes? Oh, I only have positive words. I so so so like them.

Who wouldn’t like these? I’m not really sure if they are feet friendly but they sure look gorgeous. These are Louboutin.

And these are Martinez Valera “Olivia”

When I read reviews and raves on exy shoes, I wish to own a pair but deep down that will never happen. I’m too cheap-stakes to buy them. Unlike my husband who just bought a new tv if if we already have tvs at home. I am never with how Big Boys and their toys work.

To See in Coffs

A definite stop-over in our drive down to Sydney is in Coffs Harbour. We’ll be staying for two nights. I’ve wanted to go there but can’t find the time then. My former co-worker said, I’m not missing that much. But now that we have the chance, we’ll definitely see the place.

We won’t be able to see all the tourist attractions in one day but I expect to visit these places.

For the young in mind and heart. It’ll be nice to see another species related to dolphins that look like dolphins but are not dolphins – the porpoises.

As much as we want to go to Mexico during the butterfly mating season, the Butterfly House will do for now.

The Big Banana is just one of the big things in Australia. Someday, we might get to see all those biggies on display as the Dad in the Testra ad has.

Now, doesn’t it sound like one of those Myrtle beach golf packages? And it’s just for one day.

New Styles

Been browsing around for some style ideas and these are my pick today (sorry no wrinkle creams) as I'm proud to say, I don't have any yet albiet my imperfect skin:

Striking Ruffle Top.
A gorgeous light weight silk top, perfect to wear with denim jeans or shorts for a fresh look this spring season. A cute frill neckline provides a girly feel while ruffles cascade down the front of the top providing a focal point and an elasticised waistband makes for a comfortable fit. Made from 40% silk / 60% polyester.

ForeverEbony Lurex Trim Dress.
This lovely black jersey dress is given a Grecian feel by the cream crochet and black and gold lurex appliquéd front. The black and gold lurex then continues on the fine straps with cross over back. Made from comfortable viscose/spandex the dress drapes over the figure beautifully. Wear with gladiator sandals to perfectly complete the look. Measures approx. 90cm in length.

Here I Go Again

I want to buy terry towelling or any light material dressing gown. I only own a fleecy one and the weather is starting to get warm. I thought I could use a new one. I’m on the hunt for quite sometime now but as luck would have it, I can’t find my size at the shops. Then I saw this. It’s quite exy for me. I’ll hit the shop where I found my old robe before I try to mull over if I really have to buy this one.

I Want to Slip My Feet in Them

I saw these pair from Shoeflair and I want to have a pair. I've been checking out shoes for our summer get away (not orlando vacations, it's in Sydney) in December. I haven't really got a plan but seeing them, just confirmed my mind.

I'll keep my eyes open and look-out for something similar as I am not really sure that there's a Kate Spade around my area.
*****

Shoe Insert

I wasn't really a shoe insert fan. I didn't see any use in me so I didn't bother. I have shoe insert but only to some of my shoes that don't fit me well. I didn't consider them to give me comfort.

After reading here, I got curious about the 10 kisses shoe insert from Scandalush so I checked it out. 10 Kisses are stylish inserts (in the shape of the lips) that combines comfort, functionalities and fashion. Now, that's really interesting.

With women who love wearing killer heels, this is revolutionary - could make it a little comfy standing for a couple of hours (if only wearing breeches, could make any better).

I'm Not a Pack Rat

You Are Not a Pack Rat

You're not a pack rat - and there's probably no rats in your home.

You have a living style that's totally minimalist. You're definitely not attached to stuff.

I'd like to think so but I have things that are excessive in quantity. Mcj is actually warning me of my mortgage. Oh well, I'll just toss them if I need be. For now, they can stay where they are and see if I can be useful to me. It's not like we are moving by rv (and could need an rv towing). You know, there are just stuff that it's too hard to part with.

Comfy but with Killer Hills

Now that's a big contrast.

I've seen working women wearing flats or some even don runners in going to work and I'm sure they switch to their killer hills when at work. With the Kenneth Cole 925 Technology, the days of switching shoes would soon be over with the ladies.

I've gathered from shoeblog.com, the shoes were named for it's from 9am - 5am wearability.

Shoes bearing 925 Technology are made up of two layers of foam: one is a shock absorber and the other is a poron memory foam that molds to the shape of your foot. A pillow in the arch cradle is designed to support the foot and soft rubber sole enhances flexibility.

It's been said here Down Under that killer shoes will be banned from work as they cause back pain to women (and I guess more term life insurance rates to pay for the employers) but with this innovation on fashion, no need to ditch that sexy, confident walk and poise.

New Telly

We just bought something like this. I know we're quite late on the norm (if you may call that) but we had a very functional telly (sans remote) with excellent picture quality. Who wants to part with something that you know is reliable?

Hubs saw that there was a good sale last weekend so we didn't even check-out the price in other shops (like buy.com where one can always find the best buy). It was sort of like an impulse buy but the principle was it was from a local entrepreneur and we used a 2 year interest free facility. I think, it's worth it.

Good News

What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express and we are working on Paypal as we speak.

I just checked out the FAQ of ozsale and found that they are going to accept Paypal payment soon. Yay! Good job ozsale. You’ll be having a share of my hard earned money soon. Can’t wait to spend on some of the enticing items on sale (maybe on some best eye cream, though).

Peach-y

You Should Wear Peach Lipstick

Clean, fresh, and simply pretty.

Your look: Natural Beauty

Your signature lip gloss flavor: Peach

I'm not really that it will suit me to wear peach lipstick - I haven't really tried, I think. I seldom wear lipstick these days. I only have the lipgloss - easy to put on, no need for a mirror. It's not as if I would apply for Philadelphia Jobs - which I am sure require dress code. We do have a dress code in the office but not too strict or rigid. Casual, laid back.

Metallic Shoes

Shoe sale is just sprawling on the net. Here, there and everywhere if compared to a shop setting.

I’ve admiring some metallic shoes and these are my picks:

Gita Sequin Detail Heels-GITA-Gold

Sapphire High Heels-SAPPHIRE-PaleGold

Santorini Two Toned-SANTORINI-Cream
I like the pattern and colour combination. If only we can wear shoes as many as rings at the same time, business gifts to women could be shoes, shoes and shoes. Oh how we love shoes. Sometimes, I can’t even explain it. It’s just inherent in women, I think.
*****

Burberry Trench

I’d like to own something like this:

Red Classic Trench Coat with Check Pattern Lining-11133298-red

Even with the sale in ozsale which is more than 50% off the RRP (which can be considered a Best buy), I still can’t get myself to spend that much money on a trench. It’s just sinful to think. Maybe, when we’re sitting on millions and family, all my rellies and friends are well-off, I can get myself to spend some of my hard-earned money on a Trench and go for Vegas vacations as it's one of my dream destination.

Shoes on Sale

I joined ozsale.com a few weeks back. There have been so many signature items sale. I drooled over them but sadly even if I can afford and willing to buy some of them, I didn’t. They only accept credit card for payment which up till now, I am not willing to do online. I’m just too scared, what with all the scary news on telly about identity theft (more scared than box cutter cutting my hand).

However, I still enjoy window shopping.

Heard So Much

about YSL tributes that I thought, I would check it. Though of course, I won't ever own a pair even maybe I can afford one - there's just so much poverty around the world to be spending that sinful amount of money on shoes - not unless you earn your keep byt struting those shoes.

I've heard they're quite comfortable to wear even with the 15cm heels. Now, I think it all depends on who wears them, don't you reckon? As for me? I still prefer flats as I can kick them off any time while playing playstation 3 or blogging. Only that we don't own any of those new toys. Lol.

*****

Drooling

So apt for summer.

I'm back again tonight, window shopping. If only I can spend online using credit card, I would have grabbed some of the good bargain there is. Too bad, even if we have good internet antivirus and all that stuff, plus a reliable identity theft protection law, I'm still on high alert as to using credit card online. Well, I'll just have to suffice to windown shopping, shouldn't I?

Togs

I am now in the hunt for a functional, practical yet stylish swim wear. I've been taking Jens to a swimming lesson and my two-piece bikini won't fit in the type of crowd and situation. Even if I have put on a singlet on top of them, it still doesn't look right.

Now, I'm on the prawl. Hopefully, I can find something suitable tonight in the internet or tomorrow at the shops.

I've shopped around already and found some - and of course from the girls section with my build as it is.

I'm still hesitant to order online as they might not fit me right. I'll try my luck tomorrow at the shops. Hopefully, I can find them easy enough (as who know they are not like wf2cb to be so elusive in the market).
